Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Please let me know hot to fix following error for Primavera 3

"Application Error"
P3 caused General Protection Fault in module P3CC.DLL at 0003:C3D2. Choose close. P3 will close.

P3 is quite a robust programme so GPFs should be rare.

First check that you have all the service packs installed. Go to Help>About and the top line should be ’Primavera Project Planner Version 3.1 SP3’. If it’s not then you need to download Service Pack 3 from the Primavera web site. It does not come on the install discs!

If you do have SP3 then it’s down to your PC, so I can’t really help. I could suggest upping the memory, unloading other applications etc. but that’s about all.
