Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All.
According to Primavera, P3 and P6 has been tested and work properly on Windows Vista. But P5 still was not supported and wait for a service pack.

Thanks

Ahmet,

I have both P3 3.1 and Version 5 running on my vista Ultimate laptop with absolutely no problems either in their installation or functionality.

P3 is not supported in Vista. On the other hand, it might work in Business edition as it is meant to be compatible for old systems.

P5 is not also working but Primavera announced that they will publish a service pack to make P5 working in Vista.

P6 is working without a problem in Vista.

Guys,

Have a look at my post in the forum topic "I cannot get my Primavera P3. to run under Vista"

P3 doesn’t use DBF or WKS files so that’s not an issue. These are only needed for exporting/importing data.

Yes
Vista will not support DBF or WKS file extensions
and therefore is not compatable with p3 3.1

Only answer is to install works,95 or early version

good luck,billturk1
