Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello, when a project is underway you have your target a current schedule. How do you deal with scope changes, additional/extra works with your schedule in P3. Do you add this new activities into your current schedule? Thanks.

Hello Vanessa,

Yes, you have to include the changes in scope of work, variation order, etc., in your schedule.

Generally, if you are using Work Breakdown Structure, you will add a new WBS- 50.000 Variation Order, Changes, etc. You can further make a new sub-level: 50.100 Provisional Variation Order, 50.200 Extension of Time (in case you will be going into extension of time, etc.

The above is an example only. I hope it help you.

Cheers,

charlie
