- Executing the planning and scheduling strategy for Projects in support of the Client’s planning and scheduling strategy.
- Validation of vendor and contractor schedules. Also to analyse and validate schedule data and provide information to assist management decisions.
- Scope planning, definition and change control, activity definition, duration estimates, sequencing, schedule development, risk management plan, procurement plan, integration management and contract close-out (in close cooperation with Project Document Control to completeperformance)
- Do Time studies to estimate accurate durations for activities and to form a basis to measure productivity against.
- Obtain daily updates from Contractors on site and update schedule accordingly.
- Load and manage Project Resources.
- Be involved from Project Initiation to Project Handover.
- Be involved with the Cost Estimation process.
- Ensure Project milestones are achieved according to set standards and objectives.
- Monitor progress and report on deviations to plan with recommended remedial actions.
- Presentation of Progress reporting at Progress Meetings.
- Compiling of relevant statistics and graphics to support the Progress update e.g. S-Curves, Pert and Gantt charts.
