I have a project in p6 with a fixed baseline. after 25% of the project is finished, it was discussed and agreed to fix a new baseline from the current project,due to some issues. Now the the following problems i am facing;
1. Activities which are in progress have a planned finish date(from new target) not equal to the current finish date.
2. Then i understood that the planned finish date is showing the completion date, at the time when the activity actually started. (since the new target was taken from the current project)
3. In order to make it correct, i export P6 to excel and copy/paste the current dates in the planned columns and import it. But this didn't work. I need to submit the schedule to Client very urgently
Can some one advise how to fix it?
