Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

HI, THIS THE BEST WAY TO UPDATE YOUR BASE LINE BY PRIMVERA UPDATE GO TO TOOL AND SELECT UPDATE PROGRESS OR PRESS CTRL+F9. SET A DATA DATE AS YOU EQUIRED.

THEN PUT THIS AS A TARGET ONE AND YOUR SCHEDULE WHICH YOU WANT TO UPDATE PUT AS A TARGET TWO

IN THAT YOU CAN COMPARE YOUR BASE LINE VS CURRENT SCHEDULE.

THANKS

didnt get you sorry,

i can do the same in current project, as it is compared against the baseline, as i update current schedule, i get earned value for this in terms of units or cost?

why would i have to update baseline in order to get planned % progress.... are you talking about PLanned value? (budgted cost of work scheduled-BCWS)???

Please light more

Hi,Shahzad

This is the one way to obtained a Planned % Progress

based on duration.

I did this ...for my current project..which is very helpfull for Invoicess.

you are right this is only for P3.1 option.

I hope ..it would be clear...

Thanks

Shahzad

I dont really get you,,why press Ctrl + F9 ,,it never works anyway in P6/P5..

Why do you really need to updates the baseline,,,its a frozen entity, and you only reschedule current programme,,,

please explain to me what you are trying to say.

may be i am missing something?

thanks
