Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi i’m new to this forum so please be patient. I have just completed a 3 day course on P3e & was wondering what my chances were of breaking into project controls at trainee level. I’m looking for a change in career & was advised that a Planner/Scheduler career was a good option? i would value any feedback in relation to this query. Thanks Neil.

Neil,

All depends where you want to work and how much you want to earn.

I know BAE Systems are taking on project management staff, try sending your CV to their HR department. They don’t use P3e but want anyone with a planning background.

Put your CV on cvlibrary.com and jobsite.com.

if it’s just a three (3) day course, i guess that’s only 12 hours or maybe less, I suggest that you log on to Planning Planet everyday to supplement what you have learned from your training.
