Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Felix,

Santosh is correct. You might accidentally click one of the headers in WBS and it automatically goes to SORT function. If one of the headers is showing triangle icon ("up" or "down") it means that it was on the SORT function, and it will automatically grey out the WBS functionality. Click it again and again until it come back to hierarchy mode (three horizontal line icon).

Felix, this can happen if you've changed the sort order of the "Name" column in the WBS view. Try this - click on the header box for the "name" column. If it shows upward or downward facing triangle, this is sorting the column by ascending/descending order and the indenting arrows will be greyed out. But click on it again, until it shows as a hierarchy icon, then the grey boxes should be visible.

If the above doesn't work, then its likely to do with security privileges, but these shouldn't be in use if you are using P6 SQLLite Standalone
