Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Cost Loaded Schedule Import Error

When I Import my Cost Loaded Schedule from One Computer to another the Cost from Project Reduces..

Cost for Many activities goes missing.

But the main computer in which the Cost Loading was done, If I import it again on the same computer Cost comes correct

Budgeted Total cost goes missing.

 

I will try using the add new resource setting.

which costs are we talking about budgeted, actual, actual at completion which one ?

also check your filter make sure that it is set to ALL

also go to Projects directory make sure you project is highlighted 

got to the calculations tab 

on the right under the Resource Assignments make sure that Add actual to remaining is checked.

also during the import process make sure that in the Update Project Options that select modify

under the Data Type Activity: make sure that the action for activity resource assignment is set to insert new

under the Data Type Global: make sure that the action item under resources is set to insert new
