Earned Value Labor Units

Hi Guys,

 

I have got a problem with Earned Value Labor Units in one of my projects new activities, that Earned Value Labor Units is not getting calculated according to activity %. Please suggest the possible reason, to fix this error.

Thanks Arnold,

 

This was resolved earlier; anyway the summary is that ernd hrs is calculated from bq of baseline; when set the new baseline which includes new activities i have started to get earned hours.

Hi Abilash,

Earned Value Labor Units will be calculated based on Performance % Complete. Try the following that might fix the issue.

1. Make sure that the Percent Complete Type (e.g. Duration, Physical, and Units) is set based on your requirements.

2. Performance % Complete and Activity % Complete will be calculated depending on the setting of Percent Complete Type as mentioned in #1 above.

Say for example your Physical % Complete is 35% then the Perecent Complete Type is set to Duration the 35% does not apply to your Performance & Activity % Complete. You need to change the Percent Complete Type from Duration to Physical in order to acquire the 35% based on Physical and this will apply to your Earned Value Labor Units.
