Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

How to make a project calendar into global, so that it is avilable by default for every new project created.

Cheers,

When you do this (with Tools, Organizer), make sure that you have first given your new calendar a special name such as "AA Special Calendar 1". Then you will be able to find it at the top of the list and you will be able to distinguish your calendar from the built-in ones.
DON’T just change the Standard Calendar and then put that into the global template.

Hi Richu,

Tools > Organizer > Calendars

Select the project calendar(s) from the views available in your project file and left-click on the ’<< Copy’ button to copy into the Global.MPT.

Regards,
