Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Anyone out there with experience on using MS Access for multi-project reporting?

I need to run consolidated queries/reports on about 40 mpp’s (about 5Mb each) and would like to understand if using MS Access is good vehicle to achieve this.

Storing multiple mpp’s in a single mdb is fairly straightforward, but the things I’m typically after is: performance considerations, example templates, do’s and dont’s, etc. etc.

Thanks in advance,

Niek.

Thanks Alexandre,

What are the advantages of using Crystal Reports instead of the standard MS Access reporting capabilities? Is that performance or feature related?

Thanks (again).
