Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Other than using the drawing tool to physically put a vertical line through a Gantt chart, is there any other method of putting a vertical line through the chart.

I would ideally like to highlight a couple of key project phase milestones by having a vertical line through the Gantt chart view (similar to the ’current date line’). Drawing a line is okay but I would prefer if it I could anchor it to a milestone in some way but cannot see a way of doing this.

That worked fine in MS2003 also. Thanks for the advice.

Hi John,

You should be able to "anchor" your line to a milestone. When you have drawn the line, double-click on it. Click on Size& Position. It’ll give you the options (this is what it does in MSP 2000)

HTH.
