All these projects revolved around either installing completely new Crisplant Sortation Systems, Upgrading old IT infrastructure systems to new SAC/SCARDA/IT Software & Hardware systems. We had civil structures to remove such as supporting walls and foundation breakout/Re-enforcement to accommodate the new structural loading requirements for all the new equipment.

Senior Baggage Planning Consultant, EC Harris UK, Baggage Voids Refurbishment / Pier 5 Re-Modernisation / NOOG & TOOG Replacement Projects

All these projects revolved around either complete Aeroplane Taxi Apron civil breakout and re-enforcement of high load precast concrete units that formed the aircraft loading and standing structures. Extensive buried services radar scanning and excavation of contaminated grounds work. Any Drainage capacity increase required through means of using Underground Mole boring machines in conjunction with access pits.

Project Controls Manager , Siemens AG Group, North Terminal Baggage Improvement Gatwick Airport

This is a Baggage contract where Siemens are the primary Baggage Integration partner responsible for the Electrical / Controls Installation & Commissioning for the New & Existing Baggage Handling Systems across the North Terminal Project. The new complete design incorporated 5 HBS Machines, 2 Sorters as well as the 32 new BAA Check-in Desks. Associated works required civil loading calculations to be undertaken to support the new increased and extensive structure loadings.
