Develop, update and maintain project plan (Level 4)

  • Update and maintain Level 4 activities that include task management, engineering, procurement, construction, installation and completion activities
  • Assist Task Lead in defining and freezing of workpacks, milestone dates and necessary aggregated milestone checks
  • Update and maintain Level 4 plan in accordance to defined workpacks, milestone dates, PEM work process, and Client and contract requirements

 

Develop and update document development plan (Level 5)

  • Update Level 5 plan where all documents are linked to relevant activities in Level 4
  • Ensure that Level 5 plan are scheduled within the time boundaries for the corresponding activities
  • Summarized manhour budgets for all documents linked to the same activity correspond to the activity manhour budget

 

Reporting of progress for Level 4 and Level 5 plan

  • Ensure that approved changes are implemented in plans and forecast
  • Update  task activities with plan dates from suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Consider HSE aspects in the sequencing and duration of activities
  • Contribute to the preparation of necessary progress reports
  • Report to Task Lead of all matters of importance
  • Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with PEM, within budgets and with focus on quality and HSE aspects
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary/agreed

Development of project plan (Level 3 & Level 4 plan)

  • Develop, manage and distribute project plan to the project team
  • Interact with client and project team for sound agreement in project planning
  • Define project schedules and baselines as per the project’s requirement
  • Allocate and define project work sequence, duration, resource forecast, manhour estimate and critical path activities
  • Revise and adjust schedules to reflect changes in the project
  • Able to use Primavera 3 and 6 as a planning tool to prepare Level 4 and produce reports

 

 

Progress reporting during project execution

  • Monitor and report progress via Mpower, Synergy and Primavera
  • Save baseline plan and monitor variance against the plan
  • Maintain project schedule and ensure manhour data is consistent with other systems (Mpower and Synergy)
  • Produce, review and issue required project progress reports with required frequency
  • Compare progress with baseline and identify trends and variances

 

Analysis of project plan

  • Analyse schedule deviations, manhour variances and trends for their causes and potential impacts
  • Ensure that claimed progress and expended manhours are accurate and valid
  • Raise any discrepancies and over/under reporting with offshore admin, QAQC, construction
  • Communicate the analysis of schedule variances to relevant project team members and the client for KPI calculation and submission.
  • Prepare Close Out Report for completed campaign to determine KPI achievement

 

Miscellaneous

  • Prepare monthly Offshore Resource Summary (ORS) report for Commercial Department
  • Offshore stay during campaign period to act as a focal point for campaign progress reporting
  • Liaise with personnel from various departments to maintain campaign schedule requirements
  • Adhoc duties given by supervisor/manager

NPT ANALYST – BUSINESS SERVICES

NPT Focal Point

  • Liaise with offshore administrators on the daily reporting of PT/NPT related issues
  • Analyse the data given and investigate related issues/constraints
  • Familiarisation with Business Objects (Mpower reporting tool) and Synergy (internal Database Management) to extract data
  • Communication with Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department personnel for feedback and support on NPT analysis
  • Report findings to the management team as and when required.
  • Conduct offshore visits as and when required

 

NPT Report Preparation

  • Prepare and compile daily NPT report both internally and to the client on a daily basis
  • Analyse daily NPT logs and prepare NPT risk report on a weekly basis to the management team
  • Prepare various NPT analyses on an adhoc basis from supervisor/manager
  • Conduct presentations internally and to the client on projects given

 

LEAN Initiatives

  • Create and manage Visual Control Board (VCB)
  • Conduct and analyse Process Mapping, identify issues/inefficiencies and propose recommendations

  • Part of a team that implements the usage of smartcards for the company for timewriting purposes

  • Compile and distribute daily offshore report internally and to the client

  • Prepare onshore  allowances (training, travel and meal) for offshore crews for Accounts Department
  • Prepare CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) document for Procurement Department
  • Prepare timesheet for offshore crews periodically for Commercial Department
  • Act as a document controller for Operations Department
