Establishment of a semi confidential 1300Ha Aerospace City including Airport and Aeronautical Education Zone in MENA region.

John had early involvement with this project as part of Buro Happold’s Design Management mobilisation where he finalised the company’s Quality Management Plan, Resource Plans, Project SharePoint site, hosted training sessions for the large BH design team, and adapted/created internal processes to meet the Project’s Quality Assurance requirements.

During implementation his Design Management role included overall responsibility for BH’s Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Control as well as Project Planning (scheduling and monitoring) for Buro Happold using a mixture of MS Project, Primavera (P6) and Excel planning tools. In September 2010 his role was expanded to include the Primavera Scheduling and Monitoring of the entire Project Team (across external Partners including the lead Consultant) and the programme of design and construction deliverables.
