Planning Manager for the Civils, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Scada works during the Procurement, Construction and Commissioning phases including the management of scope change, change to forecast cost via trends and approved changes, impact on schedule and adjustment to contingency.

  • Project Risk Analysis.
  • Managing a team of Planners ensuring up to date reporting is achieved.
  • Provide Planning and Scheduling members with current Scheduling Trends and Project Norms.
  • Generic overall planning templates preparation.
  • Provide schedule trends.
  • Create, Manage and Control the Project level and Schedule.
  • Create and Maintain the FWBS and WBS and Resource Structure.
  • Attend relevant project meetings maintaining client relations.
  • Liaise with client project control personnel as necessary.
  • Provide progress reports to Project Managers.
  • Evaluate Contractor’s Project Control Systems.
  • Implement and maintain Control level scheduling, and Resource leveling and Man Hours driven.
  • Provide Schedule assumptions document.
  • Monitor and update schedules.
  • Create relative S-Curves and graphs demonstrating achieved quantities and man-hours for the project.
  • Manage Planning PROCEDURES and Work flow.
  • Manage and Maintain WBS Structure.
  • Short term look ahead schedules, 2 week look ahead, Material Schedule, Procurement Schedule, etc..
  • Provide Planning, scheduling and progress report requirements to be included in the RFQ documentation and the time management section of the Project Execution Philosophy / Strategy / Plan.
