Planning Engineer, Descon Engineering, Shell`s Pearl GTL Project

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Planning Manager, my role as Planning Engineer involves the following activities

-       Verification of Scope of Work for the Project and definition of Standard Man-hours against each Cost Center

-       Development of Level IV plan in P3(approx. 3000 Activities)

-       Planning of all mechanical activities related to fabrication, erection of Steel Structure, Tanks, Piping, Painting and Insulation Works

-       Development of material requirement plan, manpower requirement plan and equipment utilization and allocation plan and consumable requirement plan, based on Level IV plan.

-       Making of Budget Rev0 for the Project

-       Developments of forecast plans for ongoing site jobs.

-       Monitoring and reporting the site progress, on weekly and monthly basis and suggest corrective actions in daily and weekly meetings.

-       Coordination with the Field Engineering department and mechanical construction department for discrepancies in design documents and their implementation on site.
