Kárahnjukar Hydroelectric Project, Iceland 730 M long / 193 M high concrete faced, earth-filled dam (60 Km, 7.2m dia. tunnel (locomotive / TBM track, conveyor, utilities), shafts, power intake, gate chambers, pen-stock , Face Slab, Spillway, Toe-Wall and roads (excavation > 2.8 Million m3 and fill, 8.7 Million m3, concrete 178,000 m3), (Cost > 1 Billion $)

 

Ghazi Barotha Hydroelectric Project, Pakistan 52 Km long 100 m wide concreted power channel along with Service Road , utilities, Approach Roads, Bridges and Super-passages (Cost > 2.25 Billion US $)

• development / integration of sub-schedules, resource loading / levelling considering extreme weather; • updated progress, analyzed, monitored and managed critical paths, reported variances from baseline, earned value and prepared mitigation plans for slippages;

• allocated budget by line items, assigned task codes, integrated CBS / WBS, estimated resources, quantities of material;

• incorporated changes in schedule / budget and maintained risk register and performed risk analysis;

• formulated different phases to facilitate work and monitored / reported the progress;

• performed forensic schedule analysis, quantified delays, using Primavera, Claim Digger and MS Excel;

• prepared reports on resources, production, machinery, HSE, weather, progress, schedule analysis;

• produced drawings, charts, time distance , slides to show the progress and projected milestone dates;

• supervised a team of up-to 15 people and coordinated the works for up-to 30 contractors, conducted schedule, progress, coordination meetings, measured, validated / approved the payments;

• calculated time impact and delays using Primavera, Claim Digger and MS Excel for claim purpose;

• compiled contemporary records constituting evidence for the claimed works;

• calculated monthly executed / remaining quantities for works and final measurement with the client;

• Worked for survey/topographic office and generated layouts, prepared as-built drawings, Site Layouts, R.O.W drawings, processed survey data, compared theoretical and actual data for quality control.
