EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) – Developed and maintained an Overall Master Project Schedule in Microsoft Projects. The schedule consist of an integrated WBS structure, multiple fields of activity coding, multiple filter fields, resource loaded with cost estimate and used hyperlinks due to the size of the schedule. Critical path was clearly defined and managed.

I worked as Lead Engineer - Project Controls, and my role involved setting up Planning & Costing systems, and to plan, monitor & control the activities of all engineering disciplines and procurement for mining projects such as Lonmin Platinum, United Manganese of Kalahari, Central Rand Gold and GeoCam Cobalt-Nickel-Manganese project.

I was also deputed to site for Moma project, Mozambique and Hindustan Zinc Project, India to monitor & control the engineering execution work at site.

As SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER with M/s BATEMAN ENGINEERING (Metals and Minerals Division) Bangalore, India and on deputation to SOUTH AFRICA head office at BOKSBURG. I was responsible for planning and control activities of a LSTK project (total value approx 200.00mn US$) from FEED phase through execution. My responsibilities involved planning, tracking and control of project control parameters including the use of primavera (P6) to achieve the completion targets.
