Project Description: The scope of work involves the construction of an 11km road consisting of 10 lanes and four future lane sections with additional collectors/distributor roads, frontage roads, and ramps. the freeway will provide access to existing and planned developments via five interchanges comprising of 20 bridges, 13 bicycle overpasses, 8 vehicular underpasses, 3 pedestrian bridges, and tunnels.

- Co-ordinate with the surveyor/QA/QC Laboratory Technician and all on-site activities and inspection of the work on daily basis, to ensure that an efficient daily progress has been obtained from all the equipment’s and men power engage in the work.;
- Ensure that all IR’s (Inspection Request) are in place with the proper documentation and/or approved shop drawing attachments for the proposed to be inspected areas of construction activities.
- Responsible for issuing a daily program of intended site activities to the foreman ensuring that all target outputs are achieved;
- Ensure the direct proper implementation of the work, materials used as per approved drawings, specification work requirements and carried out in accordance with the approved Method Statement;
- Responsible for liaising with the Consultants personnel for carrying out the inspection of the works in the time and date stipulated in the request.
- Responsible for monitoring all aspects of construction work in progress, to ensure compliance with the approved Method Statement and Inspection & Test Plan.
- Coordinate with the safety officer to ensure that the works are carried out in a safe working practice.
- resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise;
- overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;
- day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
- planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed upon deadlines;
- communicating with Construction Manager, Supervising and Design Consultant, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
- Direct supervision and Implementation of structural works such as Concreting, and Grouting of Tendons;
- Excavation and backfilling, Reinforcement Works, Formworks and Scaffold Erection on Bridge Structures.
- Ensure that designs and drawings are implemented properly.
- Ensure that the standards of Client are implemented properly on the site.
- Coordinate with the Consultant, Client during Inspection of Works and discuss technical issues.
- Estimate materials needed on Site.
- Monitor and prepare daily report on work progress at the site.
- Responsible for HSE on site during the execution of the site activities;
- Inducting all site personnel through toolbox talks on safety issues;
