Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi king richard

You are abusing the PP forum.

Please let me know which king you are - richard the 1st or richard the 3rd.

Any exponent of cockney rhyming slang will be able to judge your answer.

Hi Kenneth

Welcome to planning planet.

A few hints on PP etiquette

1. Don't post your topic in multiple threads - once is enough.

2. Don't wake up long dead threads

Best regards

Hi Guys,

Hope you can help me out...

Got hired by a Main contractor for a LPG tank construction project as a junior planner..

i have no prior construction experience at all (as i'm an Industrial Engineer, working for a manufacturing company).

But this opportunity did not come by surprise coz i've waited, looked, and dreamed of this for years.. and learnings i get from numerous failed interviews really helps... and Planning Planet (This is the best man.. Information i get here realy help me...big time)

I'm hoping you can give me any tips or an overview on how to begin and the expectations for this position.. as im hitting the ground running since Project has already started...

During my interview they ask me more about P3 and Excel Functions... I'm an entermediate user of P6, MS Project..and my desire is out of question..

I will really appreciate your feedback.

You may find some of the information in The Roles and Attributes of a Scheduler useful, the PDF can be downloaded from: http://www.mosaicprojects.com.au/PDF/Attributes_of_a_Scheduler.pdf

Hi Willem

A junior planner is one that needs guidance from a senior planner.
