Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Shell Technology india - jobs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi guys i see no replies .

So let me ask the questions here itself :

1) How do you rate SHELL as a Employer [ 1 to 10 ]
2) Pay Scale for an Experienced Engineer of 10 yrs.
[ US/EU , Middle East/Africa/Far East, Australia/NZ]
3) How is the growth oppurtunity in Shell.
4) Shell Global Sloution in Bangalore , How and what is the future?
5) Will they provide Expat Salary if they send you outside Country?
6) What are benefits other then salary they offer?
7) Do the have fixed scale or the negatiate salaries?
8) If some one is getting X dollars ? How much less he can agree for Shell job in terms of % [ Eg 4X/5]
9) Now we have Tax free SAlary in UAE , so if we agree for 20 % reduction in salary the net reduction after tax would be more then 50 % of the present salary. Do you think it is an advisable move in the career for a young guy of 33 yrs?
10) OR you guys think joining Shell would help me in owrking benchmarking trends and make my worth exponential increase.

thanks

Regards

Shiv

If you know your stuff go contract.
If you want a good pension, wait for dead man shoes,be burdened with procedures, etc go for Shell.
Shell gives good graduate training.
Cant keep their good people.
