Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello there,

Can anyone help? My wife and I are moving to Perth (WA) hopefully in Spetember this year. I’ve been in contact with a few agencies and had a positive response. Does anyone on here have any connections, advice etc?

There is plenty of scheduling work out of Perth, just put a search on http://www.seek.com.au/ and http://mycareer.com.au/ as this is where most companies advertise.

I will check out the agencies you mentioned, I have contacted Fircroft but nobody got back to me. I’ve been in touch with Oz agencies mainly though and they have been more than helpful.
I will check out a the LAHA allowance with them too.

Dont leave home without and make sure your agent gives you your LAHA Living away from Hom allownce whereby you can package a % of your salary tax free due to living costs in Oz. Ie you can rent, claim doctors dentist fees, utilities bills bladehblah before you get taxed.
Get yourself a decent Oz accounts. Contact me and I will give you her address.
