Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Goutam,

I dont know hong kong well.

I dont have experience working and living in Hong kong.

My nearness to Hong Kong was during stopover in the New Hong Kong Airport terminal en route to Manila. It was only few hours roaming around the airport.

Another structure is the Citibank in Hong kong. Another replica was initiated in Jalan Sudirman, Jakarta, Indonesia. I was involved in the construction of the structure. It is still visible the way it was using google earth when I left Jakarta way back 1998.

15,000 HKD per month is very very expensive. What will be left in your 40,000 HKD per month.

I refer you to Mr. Clive Randall. I hope he can help you.

Cheer,
Joseph

Thanks to both Joseph and Chris.

Hi Joseph, do you know Hong Kong well. What should be standard salary in Hong Kong? House rent in HK is very expensive around 15000 HKD per month.

Please write in details if you have any experience in HK.

Many Thanks

Hi Goutam,

If you want to get a job in the UK, probably the first place to start would be the Jobs Page on the Planning Planet forum. You might also consider checking out some of the Recruitment Agents in the UK who specialise in Project Planning posts (a quick websearch will give you some names) and sending your CV to them.

Then you’ll need to find out about work permits, visas and so on, much of this information can be found on the Working in the UK website.

I hope that this is helpful, good luck.

Goutam,

Forget UK

Accept the offer in HK, better for you.

Cheers,

Joseph
