Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

In the world of Globalization, what is the need of country work permit? Why cannot we have a global standard that works for all countries?

Hi Suraj,

I don’t really know the details as to why you need a work permit to work in the UK, but I believe part of it is to cover you for insurance purposes, in the event of an industrial accident. Also to ensure that you are entitled to feree healthcare under the British National Health Service. The link below will give you more information.

Work Permits

Why isn’t there a global standard? Good question; probably because of the diversity of countries and cultures throughout the world, but I’m only guessing.

I hope the link helps.
