(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I only disable a thread if it is an old topic that some new member has resurrected or if it is developing into a "me too" feeding fernzy for copies of files.
Quite often it is both.
If you can remeber the particular thread that you want to visiit I can try and ressurect it.

Sorry to read that you have been having difficulties.
We think the solution is for our Moderators to set the Forum Topic "Comments" to 'Read Only' as opposed to 'Disabled' which is what is currently our procedure. By doing this we should all still be able to read the thread etc.
We'll see if this can get implemented to solve the problem.
