(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

P6 V8.2 conversion to P6 V6.1

Hello friends,

I have got a .xer file format in P6 V8.2, unfortunately i am working only in P6 V6.1.

Since its a lower version i cannot import the V8.2 .xer file.

Is there any possible way to convert V8.2 .xer file into V6.1 .xer file.

Please guide me.

Or you can open the XER file with Note Pad and change the version number in the first line.

Solution: Ask the source to export and save the file in P6V6.1
