Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Irfan,

Call your software dealer, in no time they will gallantly solve your problem, they stand by ORACLE good name and prestige. Primavera/ORACLE P6 is supposed to be easy to use software, installation being the first step must also be easy, most probably you are missing a simple step.

Best Regards,
Rafael

Irfan,
Here are the steps that you need to do.
1) Click Start-> Primavera-> Help & Utilities-> Database Configuration
2) A Database Configuration dialog box pop up then click Next
3) Tick Administration Task (licenses, password, etc..) then click Next
4) Tick Configure database licenses then click Next
5) Tick Project Management Database (PMDB) then click Next
6) Enter privuser for users name and password then click Next
7) Click Open and select the license.txt that you have then it should prompt you that license is loaded successfully then click Finished
If you still having problem contact your primavera dealer and your license may be corrupted or expired.
