Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

please clear my doubt

i am creating the project with the methadology mgt. while i am doing it, in the assignement there is a option for the rate type which says as

1) use the project rate type on all the assignments

2) copy price/unit from the methadology and set the rate source to over ride.
.
i should go for which one and what is the difference

Dear Satishan,

You can always use the help menu on your software.
Maybe it has to do with the global/ local resource rate.
If you have a small standard project, then keep it simple and see what is happening when you change.
