Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Planners:

I made a project having an early finish date of October 15, 2010 and the same I provided to the project details must be finished on October 15, 2010. I found out that the Total Float of the critical Path changes from 0 to -1. How does P6 reads with this regards?

Thank you,

Cecil

Hi Cecil,

Try to check the finish date.

1. Go to Edit --> User Preferences --> Dates tab, Time, tick Show minutes and select the 12 hour (1:30 PM).
2. Go to Enterprise --> Projects
2. In Projects Detail Tab --> Dates
3. In "Must Finish Date" if you notice the the time is 12:00 AM, change this to 4:00PM or 5:00PM. It depends on the calendar and time you use.

Otherwise, check your finish date. It should be the same with "Must Finish Date especially the time.

Regards,

Arnold
