Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,



For an eg. In my project , I am having 2nos. activities . Activity a1 is starting on 1august and ending on 5september while activity a2 is starting on 25august and ending on 10 sep. Now my total budget is Rs, 50000. Now how can I bifurcate my spending plan for august and September. Secondly how can I fill actual spending expenditure in primavera , if actual is less than allotted will it show positive variance or profit for that month ?

Dear Rohit,

your statement is not clear (may be reference to difference in cultures), what is your expenditure plan, how r u allotting, what r u expecting in updating,are u newbie to P6 or/and primavera?
