Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

In P6 Formating Axis Options are possible.

Hai , I am wasim could anyone assit me on the following issues please:
1.)Is this possible in P6 that, when we compute the physical/Duration % value will it automatically upadate the cost % complete.If so what are the right combinations should be?

2.) Is this possible in p6 that,from the cost usage profile or from the resource usage profile especially when we are using histograms, could it possible to change Axis options same as like Excel Format Axis Options.

Hi Mohammed,

1. It is possible for Duration % and Cost % complete will be automatically updated if you mark the checkbox next to "Recalculate Actual Units and Cost when duration % complete changes" in Project workspace --> Calculations Tab.

For Physical % complete can either user entered or calculated from the activity’s weighted steps.

If you want that Physical % complete will be equal to your Duration % complete, you need to run the global change.

2. It is possible if you will try to change the "Calculate Average" depending in your "Divide interval totals by:" However, the information for your quantity/cost calculation pop-up displayed will also change due to "Calculate Average" you input.
