Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Significance of EPS ,OBS in project?Does it impact on resources or its simply a for classifying project?
Other thing how we can allign EPS ,OBS,WBS & Cost Break Down structure?

To add to what Niek has outlined:

The PROJECT is the LOWEST level in the EPS and the HIGHEST level in the WBS. It therefore sits between the EPS and WBS.

Imran,

EPS is your WBS super structure and determines how you projects are grouped.

OBS is the hierarchical PM structure in your organisation and is linked to access rights in combination with the EPS.

Normally you don’t align EPS, OBS, WBS, and CAS because their are different structures that serve different purposes.
