Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all

I have assigned budgeted costs to my activities (non labour) but every time I make the start date an actual the cost totally disappears!

If the cost is a labour cost then I do not have the same problem.

Has anybody else had the same problem or does anyone have a solution.

Thanks

The only think I know to remove non labor budget is reverse status for Actual Finihsed activity.

R U sure it is associated with Start date??

I cannot think of a scenario that would reset the task’s budget to zero by simply statusing the task with an actual start date.

Here is a place to start.

1. Go to the Project’s Screen , select your project in question , and then go to the Calculations tab (located at the bottom of the screen). This tab contains settings that impact activity and assignment calculations. Perhaps you will notice a setting here that is not configured the way you would like.
