(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.
Hey all, I have searched and can't find this topic.
I currently have a global profile for planners who can see cost in their schedulers. I also have a global profile for planners who cannot see cost in their schedules (it's locked out for them).
The problem is that the planners who cannot see cost can still export an XER, import to another P6 instance, and now see the cost.
1. How can I lock out cost from being exported in an XER. (I assume I can't change this)
2. How can I lock out planners from exporting XER's at all. (If I can do this then I can have the planners come to the admin to get an XER without cost)

first of all this is the wrong forum
in p6 go to Admin
security profiles
under the global profiles make sure that edit global resource is not checked
