Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Copying a Project

Hi Guys!

Some help please...

I have no idea why I can't copy a project in my P3. The error always says "Invalid Project Name". No project Group and Project name is 4 characters. So, what i used to do is to copy the folder containing the project and rename it just to copy the project.

Any sort of advice & solutions...

Ariel,

 

You need to put the new name of the schedule in the Project Group field and leave the Project Name field empty.  Project Name is for when you have subprojects under the Project Group name.  Good luck!
