Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All

I am looking to buy a dedicated P6 Server and would like some advice on the configuration required.

E.g. required amount of RAM, hard drive size, windows XP or 2000.

I am attending the 106A Primavera Administration course but not until next month.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Our PC are now capable to run P6, but remember that your RAM disk must be at least 1GB. I used to run P6 with 512MB Ram, but it does not run effectively.

Cheers,

Tom
