Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

hi guys,

i’m new in scheduling and i hope somebody could give me an overview on how this jobs work. i know both MS project and Primavera 3 but my previously my schedule was not base on the manpower/equip production rates. i hope somebody can teach me or give me an overview how its work.

Hi Jowie,

Simply knowing the programs of MSProject and Primavera will not be enough in understanding the concept of the planning job. You need to go through a Project Management training or schooling, plus actual work experience for a thorough scheduling application into those planning programs.

If you ask for the manual and post your email, I am sure that plenty of people will send you soft copies.

Then you can read the manuals and start applying them.
