Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

That part is easy. Using a ’neat’ wordprocessor like Notepad, open up the file C:\Windows\P3.INI. Don’t use WORD as an editor, as it loves to leave junk that you can’t see but P3 will. Edit the line that says,

BackupRestoreDir=F:\

to something like,

BackupRestoreDir=C:\TEMP

Save your edits and then try again. Good luck!

Guys,
I did tick "Remove access list" during back up. I even made it a PRX file to no avail as that one produces a dialogue box prompting me to insert disk 1 in drive F. When my flash was still in my system. Can anybody help?
Chuks.

During back-up did you remember to tick/select "Remove acces list during backup"? This is one thing i can think of, otherwise no reasons for it to request password.

Best of luck.
Akin.

Thanks Guys. The problem is the back up will not open. Demands for password and all my passwords can’t open the back up. Somebody H-E-L-P!
