Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi folks dont know if somebody out there has been in a the same situation as myself but I have worked predominantly on rail vehicle projects and although we follow project planning principles in much the same way as any other large value project, bid, contract award, design, construction, delivery and then after sales support I dont seem to be having much success in my target area of civels/ utilities

Any advice would be welcome

Thanks

This is the old "can’t get a job without experience, can’t get experience without a job"...

No easy answer other than being convincing and having some knowledge of other inductries. I have found that as long as you can show people that you can plan properly, it dosn’t matter what the industry is.

Good luck!
