Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we finalise the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello Bijaya,

Thanks for the reply, though I have my own thought for this still I would like to hear from others... the reason I’ve put it in this thread is that PRX is related to back-up (but compressed) and my question is also related to back-up (not compressed)..;-)

Cheers!

This is no more related with PRX, hence may deserve a separate discussion. Anyway, backup is real backup of the same project (if something goes wrong with your files). It has the exactly the same name as the original project but in different folder. Copy creates a copy of the project in different name, in same or different folder. The purpose of copying could be to create different versions of the programmes which can be used as target for comparison.

Guys,

Would somebody know what’s the difference between backing up a P3 file without compressing it and copying of P3 file??

Any idea...???

Cheers!

Luzette,

I do not have P3 on my computer here - but I do at home - I will send another message later telling you how to do it (in case no one else replies).

Regards
Fiona

What do you want to know about PRX?
It is compressed and self exctracting format of data back up for P3.
