Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

You can download MPX2000 from www.sciforma.com to convert the MSP2003 to MPX.
However, you still need to redo some work:
a) reassign the calendar
b) change the activity type from independent to task and milestone
c) remove the summary bars
d) etc.

Regards.

you may need some old version of Project e.g. MS-project 98
Save your project as project98 format
then use Project 98 to save it as MPX format.

You may also find some third-part utilities to do the conversion

Hi John,

Contact Primavera. I do believe they have a conversion utility that converts MPX to P3 format.

Just a plug! Open Plan can do it too! Both ways!
