Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is any way to material resource as primary resource Second how to assign of unit of measure such as hour for labor and non--labor Third in resource tab of activity details of update primary resource is any setting to automatically update other resource

Agree, when consumable resources such as raw materials are lacking activities are delayed.

Is any way to material resource as primary resource - thats depends on if the # Units of the material is driving the activity

Second how to assign of unit of measure such as hour for labor and non--labor - yes go to the resource and look under the  

details tab and there is a drop down there for unit of measure. If you do not see the one you want you can add it by going to Admin then Admin Categories then Units of measure 

Third in resource tab of activity details of update primary resource is any setting to automatically update other resource

go to Projects and on the Resources tab under Resource Assignments set the settings there
