Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I just posted a new article “Whaddya Do When the Critical Path Changes?” on my blog. The article shows how a delay during project execution that changes the critical path requires new analysis of the value, drag, and true cost of the new critical path activities. And how failure to perform such analysis often results in work being performed that costs more than its worth.

The article uses standard network diagrams, but expanded with information from the value breakdown structure (VBS), critical path drag and drag cost computation. (And, if you want to, it presents an opportunity to exercise your drag cost computation skills.)

Fraternally in project management,
