Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,

I'm a new member therefore forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong section.

I am looking for a good template of GANTT chart in Excel

The ones I could find on the internet are mostly limited in the number of activities.

I need somethiing where I can have:

- start/finish dates

- % complete in a different color

- duration

- summary activities

- possibility of personalizing the bars

The purpose is to use it as a Lev.1 schedule to report to the management

Thanks

Fulvio

Gantt is a person’s name not an acronym to be capitalised - Henry L. Gantt.  But he did not have anything to do with developing simple time based bar charts see: http://www.mosaicprojects.com.au/PDF_Papers/P158_Henry_L_Gantt.pdf

If you want a template for a bar chart developed in Excel ask for one.
