Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

The contractor has several activities that are tied to its successor with both an fs and ff ties. Activity 1 – 7/08/13 – 7/10/13   Activity 2 - 7/10/13 – 7/12/13. No lags on either relationship. Would this cause the activity to act like it has a fs-1 relationship?

Hi Richard

What you have is a ladder effect which is common in manufacturing but has no real place in construction.

It should make no difference to the operation of the logic and it could be beneficial when a progress up date goes beyond the SS link.

Best regards
