Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I am currently using P6 v7.0. We have just created a project, for the finish milestone, we gave it a mandatory finish of August 23, 2013. All the predeccessor activities complete by August 21, 2013. Yet I am showing a total float of -1. Can someone please help me out??

After looking the above reference I suggest avoiding mandatory constraints, they work differently to finish no latter than constraint and are to be used for some analysis but not for actual management and scheduling.
