Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Waterfall Charts

I have been requested to produce a waterfall chart, I remember them from training courses years ago but haven’t created one before. I have the basic data in Excel format i.e. records of milestone forecast dates month by month but short of creating a chart in Excel I can’t think of how to generate one. I cannot see this report as an option in either P6 or MS Project. Any suggestions?

excel has a floating bar chart, just googled it so know everything about them, they look strange prefer simple s-curves
