Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All

Has anyone got a simple house building programme that I can use to demonstrate to students? Ideally in MSP but any format will do.

These are civil engineering students and I set them a task of creating programmes for ’making tea’, another for ’getting up and going to work’ (good for variations, i.e. tube strike so have to take the bus, etc.(Thanks James)) and finally ’how to build a house’.

I have the one I created but a ’genuine’ programme would be very useful, especially with costs/resources. Any assistance very gratefully received and all copyright/confidentially etc respected!

If you can help, send me it on ncwinkley@gmail.com

Very many thanks

Nige

Nigel,

Have you seen the tutorial that comes with powerproject? It has a very detailed house build programme that helps you build up all the information you mention as you go

Regards

Neil
